Law & Policy Intern
As a Law and Policy Intern, I supported the functions of the strategic litigation program by drafting legal documents (memoranda, affidavits, and case briefs) for cases relating to trans-inclusive schools, gender discrimination in the workplace, and sexual violence.

Community Building Intern
March 2018 - April 2018
While studying at Ulster University's Conflict Research Institute in Northern Ireland, I worked at the Rainbow Project's Foyle LGBT Centre. As one of the two physical and mental wellness centers for Northern Ireland, I organized community workshops on LGBTQ+ history and activism, co-led trainings on LGBTQ+ youth disparities in Northern Ireland for teachers and youth workers across the country, and helped organize and facilitate the first-ever LGBTQ+ Youth Forum, where over 90 LGBTQ+ youth from across the country came together in Belfast to talk about policy and cultural issues that LGBTQ+ people encounter. Read my reflection of the event here.
Board of Directors
OutFront Minnesota is one of the largest state LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in the country. At 19, I was elected as the organization's youngest board member. In this capacity, I have a fiduciary duty along with other board members to ensure OutFront Minnesota's sustainability as an organization. Currently, I am the Co-Chair of the Governance Committee, which focuses on internal policy evaluations, board recruitment, and facilitating onboarding. It is an incredible privilege to serve in this capacity.
